Five Years of Ferham Festival
FLUX RotherhamEvery summer, Ferham Park fills with music, food and colour for Ferham Festival, a free celebration rooted deep in Rotherham's culturally diverse communities. I've photographed it for Flux Rotherham for five years running, capturing everything from five-a-side football to impromptu family portraits. Shot year on year, the work has grown into something bigger than event coverage, and is now a running social record of a vibrant community in the heart of the Borough.
Now running for more than 10 years, Ferham Festival has become one of the real highlights of Rotherham's summer calendar.
Ferham Festival has become something more than an afternoon of entertainment. It's proof of a community that shows up for itself, year after year, and I've been lucky enough to follow the journey with them.
