About Sam McQueen

For over 15 years I've photographed the endeavour, joy, creativity and spirit that propels people forward. Some of my work includes putting Sheffield on the map as The Outdoor City, and working with community groups to form Rotherham's ambition to become the world's first Children's Capital of Culture.

Specialities

I'm an expert at photographing people in environments requiring adaptability, and where a deep understanding of the subject are paramount. Previous work has involved busy healthcare environments, large industrial factories, snowy mountain peaks, a school room full of 50 frantic toddlers, and everything in between!
